TAMPA BAY RODEO

Florida’s hottest show on dirt returns! The Tampa Bay Rodeo & Family Festival, presented by Bartow Ford, charges into the Hillsborough County Fairgrounds on July 19 – 20, 2024. Fresh off a sold-out event in April, this summer’s rodeo promises to be a can’t-be-missed event with new competitors, new livestock, and thrilling action throughout. The area’s best cowboys and cowgirls are saddling up for two days of rodeo competition including bull riding, bronco busting, barrel racing, calf roping, team roping, and more!

SUPERIOR RAID THE STAGE STUDENTS

Plant City High School (PCHS) had three students who earned Superiors at the 2024 Florida Senior Thespian State Festival which took place over spring break. That score qualified them to compete at the 2024 International Thespian Festival at the end of June. The festival took place in Indiana and is quite expensive, so they submitted their projects and performances virtually.

PCHS recently got scores back and all three that qualified and submitted for the International Festival received Superiors! Which means they got the best possible scores, as there is no higher honor.

The students who earned Superior:

Helena Adkins (2026)

Technical Scenic Design, Little Shop of      Horrors

Madison Parolini (2025)

Solo Musical, Killer Instinct- Bring It On

Madison Parolini (2025), Elliott Green     (2024)

Duet Musical, Friendship – Anything Goes

We would like to congratulate these students. Their hard work does not go unnoticed, and we wish them best in all of their future endeavors.
