Plant City Police Department officers responded today to a crash between a car and a train.
According to police reports, the driver attempted to go around the railroad crossing arms on Woodrow Wilson Street between Reynolds Street and Sammonds Road. At that moment, an Amtrak train collided with the vehicle, taking the entire back end of the car with it.
The driver, who has not yet been identified, suffered only minor injuries.
