Bernard Wayne Caton, 96, of Plant City, Fla., born on Nov. 3, 1928, in Middlebury, Indiana, entered into eternal rest on Jan. 20, 2025. He was a member of First Baptist Church Plant City, Plant City Lion’s Club International, and the South Florida Baptist Hospital Foundation. He was preceded in death by wife, Betty Lousie Caton. He is survived by children, Randall Caton (Jessica) of Dover, Kimberly Caton of Titusville, and Gregory Caton (Patricia) of Orlando; 8 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; and many other family, and friends. A funeral service will be held Saturday, Feb. 1, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church Plant City, 3309 James L Redman Parkway, Plant City, Fla., where the family will receive friends beginning at 10:00 a.m. For those unable to attend, the service will be live-streamed at www.FBCPC.com/live.
