Elizabeth Edna “Libby” Hansen, age 73, of Citronelle, Ala., passed away on Nov. 7, 2023. She was born on Mar. 31, 1950, in Plant City, Fla., to Jeanette Carmack and George Stalvey (Marie). She is preceded in death by her parents, as well as her son, Sgt Kevin Akins. She is survived by her children, Kim Guy, Kelly Sanders (Dwayne), and Krisey Garrison, as well as her grandchildren, Sierrah Simpson, Brook Robertson, Caleb Garrison, Grace Robertson, and Ariana Liscome. Libby is also survived by her siblings Susan Welch, Brenda Dixon, Teresa Moore, Mary Heath, Barbara Snell and Pat Stalvey. A ceremony to celebrate Libby’s life will be announced in the spring of 2024. The compassionate team at Cottage Hill Funeral Home in Mobile, Alabama, is assisting the family with the arrangements.
