Amos Nathan Singletary, 73, died March 10, 2015.
He was born in Plant City and was a lifelong resident. He was a Mason, U.S. Army veteran and member of Youman’s Praise and Worship Center. He retired from Stone and Webster Engineering. Mr. Singletary enjoyed people, and he enjoyed life.
Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Eugenia Singletary; sons, Dewitt Bland and Clarence Byrd Jr.; daughters, Emma Benjamin and Melissa Singletary Hamilton; sisters, Myrtle Knipes and Carolyn Mack; eight grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Nathan and Mary Lee Singletary; and two sisters and one brother.
