Audrey A. Hancock, 95, of Dover, died May 17, 2015 in Plant City.
Mrs. Hancock moved to Florida from Dodge County, Georgia in 1922. She and her husband were farmers. Mrs. Hancock attended Dover Pentecostal Holiness Church, was a Deaconess, a Sunday school teacher and sang in her church choir.
She is survived by her son, Joseph E. Hancock; daughter-in-law, Patsy Knight; four grandchildren, Sherry Staggs, Jack Hancock, Jamie Hancock, Wayne Hancock; five great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 34 years, Dan Hancock; and sons, Jimmy and Daniel Hancock.
A funeral service was May 21 at Wells Memorial Funeral Home. Burial followed at Dover First Baptist Cemetery. Online condolences may be made at WellsMemorial.com.
