Barbara Jean Howell Parrish
Barbara Jean Howell Parrish, 80, of Plant City, died Sept. 19, 2016.
She was born Aug. 6, 1936, in Tampa. She was a Sunday school teacher for many years at Springhead Baptist Church. Her family was her life.
She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Mallie Parrish; children, Jamie Parrish (Patsy), of Plant City, and Diane Schell (Tom), of West Palm Beach; brothers, Thomas C. Howell and Samuel B. Howell; grandchildren, Penny, Melissa, Shanna, Kim and Jessi; great-grandchildren, Miranda, Rebecca, Cody, Ashlyn, Tristan, Ryan, Mason, Austin and Wyatt; great-great-grandchildren, Sadie, Madisyn, Jacob and Jaxson; and many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
A celebration of life was held Sept. 21, at Hopewell Funeral Home in Plant City.
Committal followed at Hopewell Memorial Gardens, Plant City.
