Bernhard “Bernie” Krumins, 88, of Brandon, and formerly of Massachusetts, died at his home Sunday, July 26, 2015.
Mr. Krumins was born in Smilten, Latvia and immigrated to the United States in the early 1950s. He and his wife, Barbara, moved to Florida in 2000. He was a member of the Society for the Preservation of Old-Time Country Music. He loved his family, and he enjoyed collecting stamps and old-time country music albums.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Barbara Bramhall Krumins; children, Bernie Krumins (Lorraine), of Tiverton, Rhode Island, and Kristine Krumins-Linehan, Lt. Col (ret) USAF (Robert), of Brandon; grandchildren, Brian, Damien, Kristen and Justin; and great-granddaughter, Cassandra.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Marguerita Weinburg Krumins; and brother, Donars Krumins.
A celebration of life was held July 29, at Hopewell Funeral Home in Plant City.
