Billie Jean Stephens, 82, of Brandon, and formerly a longtime resident of LaFollette, Tennessee, died May 22, 2015.
Mrs. Stephens was born in Jellico, Tennessee. She was a member of New Beginnings Baptist Church in Tampa and of the Order of the Eastern Star. She migrated to Florida in 1994 after retiring from the Campbell County, Tennessee school system as a cafeteria manager. She will be missed by her husband, sons and many friends.
She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Robert O. Stephens; sons, Robert David Stephens (Mary Nasca) and Terry Charles Stephens, of Brandon; and grandchildren, Jaclyn-Marie Stephens and Robby Stephens.
A private interment was held at Fellowship Cemetery, Wimauma. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the New Beginnings Baptist Church, Tampa. Online condolences may be made at HopewellFuneral.com.
