Corine Mofield Moates, 81, of Lakeland, died Sept. 7, 2013.
Mrs. Moates was born on July 26, 1932, in Jay.
She is survived by four children, Darlene Strong Rheaume and Cindy Ann Mofield, both of Lakeland, Billy Joe Mofield, of Plant City, and Donna Jean Stitt, of Ukiah, Calif.; seven grandchildren, Sherri Strong Tucker, Laura Strong, Blair Baker, Sandy Baker, Michael Williams, Jimmy Williams and Stephen Williams; seven great-grandchildren, Sierra Jade, Laci, Shelbey, Breanna, Cayden, Paige and Kalie; niece, Ida Tate; three great nephews, Daniel, David, Joseph; and many more loving family members.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Joe Mofield; and second husband, Edsel Moates; her father, Louis Goodwin; her mother, Rennie Lou Gibson; her sisters, Pauline Tate, Ertis McCormick; and her brother, Herman Goodwin.
A Celebration of Life was held Sept. 15, at Wells Memorial and Event Center, Plant City.
