David Leon Summerall, 82, of Brandon, died Aug. 28, 2015.
Mr. Summerall was born in Tampa and raised in Durant. He was a member of Pleasant Grove Assembly of God. He was a veteran of the United States Army and was retired from U.S. Agri-Chemicals Corporation. He loved his family and his church, and enjoyed fishing and woodworking.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Willa Faye Summerall; children, Greg Summerall, of Brandon, and Tricia Neal (Clay), of Houston, Texas; siblings, Carl Porter (Ann), Carol Mays and Dorothy Rudd, of Durant, and Carrie Summerall, of Bloomingdale; and many other family and friends.
A celebration of life was held Wednesday, Sept. 2, at Pleasant Grove Assembly of God in Plant City. A committal followed at Pleasant Grove Cemetery. Online condolences may be made at HopewellFuneral.com.
