Dolores Jane Root, 81, of Lithia, and Smyrna, Del., died Sept. 7, 2014.
She was born July 16, 1933. She was the wife of the late Leon Root.
She was predeceased by brothers, Kenny Aulenbach and Robert Aulenbach; and sister, Marian Boyer.
Survivors include sons, Leonard (Marjorie) Root Sr., and Kenneth (Sherry) Root; daughter, Brenda (Larry) Cryder; brother, David Aulenbach; seven grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren.
Services were held in Delaware.
