Elizabeth Rose Buti, 94, died Jan. 27, 2014, in Brandon.
She was born on Nov. 6, 1919, in Tonawanda, N.Y., to Alexander and Elizabeth (Elek) Buti.
She worked for more than 30 years as a civil servant for the U.S. government. She was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church, in Tampa.
She is survived by two sisters, Mary Farkas and Helen Buti; and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Steve, and Louis Buti.
Funeral services were Jan. 30, at Wells Memorial Funeral Home.
