Elsie Nora Thomas, 96 of Plant City, died Aug. 29, 2014, at Health Center of Plant City.
Born July 24, 1918, in Conway, S.C., she was the daughter of the late Frank and Edna Glass Jacoby. She was the wife of the late Vernon Thomas. She was also predeceased by sister, Winifred Meredith.
She loved her cardinals and watched them feed outside of her window daily. She also loved her family very much and was a gardener and worked puzzles.
Survivors include a daughter, Gerri Cannoles (Bill deceased); brother, Gordon Jacoby (Jeanette); grandchildren, Scott, Kevin and Chris Cannoles; four great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
A funeral service was held Sept. 3, at Haught Funeral Home Chapel, Plant City. The family received friends for one hour prior to services at funeral home.
