Gregory “Greg” Wayne Connor, 52, of Plant City, died Sept. 13, 2015.
Mr. Connor was a member of Lebanon Baptist Church in Plant City, and was employed with Chadwell Supply. He loved his family, was an avid fan of the Boston Red Sox and the Florida Gators, and enjoyed the beach and making beef jerky.
He is survived by his wife, Yvette Bazarte Connor; sons, Capt. Lonnie Haynes (fiancee Melissa), United States Air Force, McDill AFB, Tampa, and 1st Lt. Corey Haynes (finacee Veronica), United States Army, Ft. Sill, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Grayson Haynes and Gabriel Haynes; mother-in-law, Phyllis Parrish; sister, Angela Wood (Jash), of Plant City; niece, Aubrey Wood; nephew, Jashua Wood; aunts, Evelyn Brown and Marie Priest; uncles, Rev. J.W. Rayburn (Francis) and Ron Rayburn; and many other family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ronald Connor and Eileen Rayburn Connor.
A celebration of life was held Sept. 19 at Hopewell Funeral Home in Plant City, where friends and family wore Gator gear.
