G.W. “George” Taylor, 75, of Dover, died July 27, 2014.
He was a veteran who served in the U.S. Army.
He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Beverly; children, Pacer, Darrell, Mike (Sandi), Edwina (Ray), Becky (David) and G.W. Jr.; siblings, Vera Mae, Eston (Sue), Nancy, Myra, Gladys and Robert; 20 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren, who affectionately called him “Dubby;” and many loving family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ethridge and Nancy Taylor; three brothers; and two sisters.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 1, at Hopewell Funeral Home, 6005 C.R. 39 S., Plant City. Interment at Hopewell Memorial Gardens, Plant City.
