Jeanne Rauner Edwards, 82, of Lakeland, died Feb. 3.
She was born in Detroit and moved as a teenager with her parents to Plant City.
She graduated from Plant City High School and Florida Southern College, where she earned a degree in music.
She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Charles L. Edwards; children, Barbara Ahlers (Paul), Lesli Platt (Randy) and Todd Edwards; grandchildren, Clara Ahlers Schlicher, Charles Onille Edwards, Jacob Paul Ahlers, Mackensi Platt Beers and Randell L. Platt II; great-grandchildren, John Paul Schlicher, Zachary Schlicher and Eason Randell Beers.
She was preceded in death by her son, Charles Scott Edwards.
A celebration of life was held Feb. 8, at First United Methodist Church, Plant City.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the First United Methodist Church and/or Good Shepard Hospice, 105 Arneson Ave., Auburndale, FL 33823.
