Obituary: John “Jackie” Henn

John “Jackie” Henn, 56, of Plant City, and formerly of Long Island, N.Y., died Sept. 5, 2014.

He was a longtime honorary fireman with the Selden, N.Y. Volunteer Fire Department, and a parishioner of St. Clement Catholic Church, Plant City. He loved the New York Yankees, Yankees great Derek Jeter and “unburned” bacon cheeseburgers. He will be missed.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Carmela Verni Henn.

He is survived by his parents, John and Carol Henn; siblings, Kathleen Gambrell (Alan), of Plant City, Terence Henn (Katherine), of Waukesha, Wis., and Patrick Henn, of Port Ewen, N.Y.; and many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
