John W. Beard, 61, of Plant City, died June 17, 2016.
A native of Key West, he was the son of Jimmie and Flora Cruz Beard. He was retired from the United States Army and was a butcher for Safeway Grocery.
He is survived by his wife, Margaret “Peggy” Snow Beard; son, John W. Beard II; and siblings, Thomas, Carol, Evelyn and Rhonda.
The family will be having private services.
