Kathryn Gainey
Kathryn Gainey, 74, of Plant City, died Feb. 13, 2017.
A native of Plant City, she was the daughter of L.C. Johnson and Verna Hopkins-Johnson. She was a teacher at Combee Elementary School. She retired from Polk County Schools after 35 years of service.
She is survived by her mother; daughters, Katyna Gainey (Claudine) and Krystal Gainey; grandchildren, Karis, Schyler and Peyton Suor and Jennings Gainey.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
