Kimberly “Kim” Diane Mitchell, 51, of Plant City, died Sept. 4, 2015.
Mrs. Mitchell worked in Human Resources with the University of South Florida, and served on the board of directors for Plant City Entertainment Inc., a community theater. She was a member of New Day Church in Brandon. Her life was family, friends and the theater.
She is survived by her husband of 27 years, Thomas Mitchell; daughter, Olivia Kathlyn Mitchell; mother, Shirley Dunaway Outen; “forever-sister-friend,” Jennifer Fenner; and many friends.
A celebration of life will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 12, at Hopewell Funeral Home in Plant City. Memorial contributions may be made to the Colon Cancer Alliance at ccalliance.org.
