Leo Brock, 86, of Thonotosassa, died Thursday, Dec. 4, 2014.
Born Monday, Feb. 20, 1928, he was the son of the late Vester and Romell Boutwell Brock. He was the husband of Gloria Thornton Brock; she survives. Also surviving are sons, David Lee Brock (Jean) and Christopher Broyles; daughters, Shirley Tapp and Patricia Martin (Johnnie); sister, Nell Chancey; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by son, Stephen Brock.
Mr. Brock was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army, loved to fish, build bird houses and had been a foster parent for over 20 years, serving many beloved children. He had owned a car lot in Seffner and had been a tree surgeon.
