Linnie Mae Hunter, 82, of Lithia, died Sept. 13, 2016, in Lakeland.
She was a member of Springhead Church of Christ. She loved her children, grandchildren and family more than anything. She also loved to sing, fish and make quilts.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Velton Hunter.
She is survived by her sons, Velton Edward Hunter, Jerry Bruce Hunter, Rex Andrew Hunter (Phyllis) and William Carl Hunter; daughter, Linda Dianne Wilkes (Joel); brothers, Paul, Donald and Buel Lunsford; sister, Myrtle Campbell; 24 grandchildren; 43 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held Sept. 20, at Wells Memorial Funeral Home and Event Center. Burial followed at Welcome Cemetery.
