Lloyd T. Evers Sr., 91, of Plant City, died Sept. 2, 2014.
He is survived by his wife of 71 years, Mavis; children, Lloyd Jr., Janis Carol Harris, Gayle Campbell (Charles) and Sylvia Montefu (Henry); sisters, Nettie Byrd and Evelyn McCullum; 10 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
He was born April 1, 1923 to Avil and Molly Evers.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Avil and Molly Evers; and brothers Julius, Don, and Morris.
A celebration of life will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 6, at Hopewell Baptist Church, 6001 C.R. 39 S., Plant City. The family will receive friends beginning at 9:30 A.M. Interment at Hopewell Memorial Gardens, Plant City.
