Lorene H. Powell, 91, of Plant City, died Aug. 18, 2014.
She was a member of Plant City’s First Baptist Church, Delta Kappa Gamma Society, Florida Retired Teachers Association and the Plant City’s Woman’s Club.
She was preceded in death by her husband W.L. Powell Jr.
She is survived by her son, William “Billy” Powell; niece, Julie Robinson; nephews, Steve Howell (Kathy) and Larry Howell (Sarah); and several nieces and nephews, cousins, family and friends.
A celebration of life was held Aug. 25, at Plant City’s First Baptist Church. Interment followed at Springhead Cemetery, Lakeland.
