Louis Alexander Buti, 85, died May 30, 2013.
He was born on Sept. 17, 1927, in Ridgway, Pa., to Alexander and Elizabeth (Elek) Buti.
He served in the U.S. Marines. After his service, Mr. Buti was in Local Union #140 and worked as a carpenter.
He is survived by his son, Timothy Buti; daughter, Sonia Buti; and sisters, Elizabeth Buti, Helen Buti and Mary Farkas.
He is predeceased by Helen Buti, the mother of his children.
A celebration of life, with military honors, was held June 4, at Wells Memorial & Event Center. The family wishes to thank the staff at Lake Shores Assisted Living, and the caregivers and medical staff at the James A. Haley Medical Center and LifePath Hospice.
