Marie Hankins Allen, 89, of Brandon, and formerly of Ironton, Ohio, died July 30, 2015.
Mrs. Allen was a former member of Arabia Baptist Church and Coal Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Ohio, and Sovereign Grace Baptist Church in Florida, and was a current member at Bible Baptist Church in Florida. She worked at the Ironton, Ohio JCPenney store for over 20 years. Her greatest joy was her family.
She is survived by her children, Jane Allen Ocheltree, of Brandon; Dr. Jean Joviak, of Ocala; Danny Allen (Marilyn), of Seffner; and Katherine Sarginson (Donny), of Illinois; grandchildren, Julie Reardon (Derek), Trisha Whitzel (Raymond) and Matthew Allen (Jennifer); great-grandchildren, Haley, Joshua and Mac; and many nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Allen was preceded in death by her husband, Dan Allen; and siblings, Donald Hankins, Frank Berger and Everette “Hank” Hankins.
Interment was held at Hopewell Memorial Gardens in Plant City.
