Marie Tew Sumner, 91, of Lithia, died Feb. 2, 2015.
She was a 64-year member of First Assembly of God in Plant City, and Gideon’s International Auxiliary. She loved her family, and she enjoyed gardening, sewing and cooking.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert J. Sumner; daughter, Carolyn Sumner; granddaughter, Sheila Wilkins Thomas; and sister, Marguerite Conner. She is survived by her children, Donald L. Sumner (Mollie) and Faye Wilkins (James); grandchildren, Wade Wilkins, Renee Smith (Chris), Jeff Sumner (Cherie) and Greg Sumner (Julie); siblings, Morris Tew and Coleman Tew (Peggy); sister-in-law, Ann Keel; eight great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
