Michael “Pops” Medina, 74, of Plant City, died October 4, 2013.
He was a Veteran of the U.S. Air Force, an aircraft mechanic and a member of the Plant City Elks Lodge No. 1727.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Sharon; children, Michele (Sean), Suzanne (Chuck) and Michael Shawn (Kim); grandchildren, Leanne (Jason), Amanda (Jaryd), Hannah, Riley, Mason, Hayley and Charlotte; great-grandsons, Ryan and Austin; siblings, Bill (Evelyn), Sylvia (Norman), Richard (Carol), Lou (Sue), Martha (Joe) and Bobby (Hector); and many other loving family and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 12, at Hopewell Funeral Home, 6005 C.R. 39 S., Plant City. Family will receive friends beginning at 3 p.m.
