Michael O’Shea Hillery, 68, of Plant City, died Dec. 5, 2014.
He was born April 23, 1946, in Allegan, Michigan. Mr. Hillery attended Full Gospel Fellowship Church in Plant City. He was a longtime employee for Family Motors. He was a jack of all trades and was able to do whatever was needed to care for his family. If anyone asked, he would give the shirt off his back. He could live off the land and was in tune with nature. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
He is preceded in death by son, Roy Lee “Buster” Evans; daughter-in-law, Kellie; parents, Robert Sr. and Frances Hillery; and siblings, Bobby Hillery and Pat Glass. He is survived by his loving wife of 22 years, Brenda L. Hillery; children, Johnny Ray “JR” Evans (Lisa), Michelle O’Shea Hillery (Mitch) and April Rena Hillery (Alicia); grandchildren, Kayla, Aleah, Ely, Mackenzie and Makayla; brothers, Johnny Hillery, Daniel Hillery and Jimmy Hillery; sisters, Jody Hollis, Katherine Turner and Virginia Rhodes; and many nieces and nephews and extended family members.
