Mildred C. Vanek, 90, died March 30, 2014, in Ruskin.
She was born in Bainbridge, Ga., to Marvin Lewis Cooper and Elnora (Day) Cooper.
She was a member of the Church of Nazarene, a devout Christian who read her Bible every day who cherished her loving family.
She is survived by her son, Dennis Vanek (Linda); daughter, Paulette Williams (Don); brother, Charles Cooper; sisters, Dorothy Holt and Emma Jean Johnson; six grandchildren, Dwayne Brown, Joel Brown, Dina Williams, Denys Vanek, Donnie Williams and Frank Dennis Vanek Jr.; and several great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Mrs. Vanek is predeceased by her husband, Frank; daughters, Peggy Brown and Deborah Williams; brothers, Marvin Cooper Jr., Thomas Cooper and James Cooper; and sister, Louise Dugan.
A funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 3, at Wells Memorial and Event Center. Burial will take place at Sunset Memory Gardens.
