Norman Guy Blount, 70, of Durant, died Feb. 1, 2014.
He was a lifelong resident of Durant and member of Pleasant Grove Assembly of God. He was retired from the Hillsborough County Road Department.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Andrea Maute Blount; children, Keith Blount and Kendra Blount Harrell (Glenn); and grandchildren, the joys of his life, Kelsey, Emily, Taylor, Bailey, Jordan, Thaddeus and Jenna.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 6, at Hopewell Funeral Home, 6005 C.R. 39 S., Plant City. Interment to follow at Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Plant City.
