Ralph O’Neal Hendricks, 80, died April 9, 2015, at his home.
Mr. Hendricks was born in Boaz, Alabama, and moved to Plant City in 1957. He married Martha Wilkerson in 1958. He was a Marine Corps veteran and a captain with the Plant City Fire Department. In his spare time, he loved gardening.
Surviving family members include sons, CW Edenfield (Lisa), Ralph O’Neal Hendricks Jr., Jay Hendricks (Nancy) and Gordon Wayne Hendricks (Leslie); daughter, Gail Hart (David); brothers, Byron, Bennie and Rayburn; 12 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren. Mr. Hedricks was predeceased by his wife of 53 years, Martha Hendricks; his parents; and a brother.
A funeral service was held April 13, at Wells Memorial, followed by burial and military honors at Shiloh Cemetery. Online condolences may be made at WellsMemorial.com.
