Obituary: Richard H. Thiffault

Richard H. Thiffault, 92, of Hopedale, Massachusetts, died, March 12, 2015, at Milford Regional Medical Center in Milford, Massachusetts.

He was born June 4, 1922, in Brookline, Massachusetts, the son of the late Henry and Zoa (Varnum) Thiffault, and served in the U.S. Army during World War II. Mr. Thiffault was employed with the MBTA for more than 30 years before retiring. He had worked part-time in the Boston Garden ticket office.

He is survived by his children, Richard Thiffault Jr., Victor (Kathleen) Thiffault, John (Linda) Thiffault, Paul (Nancy) Thiffault, Judith Thiffault and her wife, Jennifer Mason, Nancy (Daniel) Callahan, Kevin (Marianne) Thiffault, Robert Thiffault and his partner, Kathleen Clark, and step-daughter, Lois (Leroy) Futch, of Plant City; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He was the husband of the late Lillian (Nelson) Thiffault, and was predeceased by his first wife, Agnes (McDonald) Thiffault.

Graveside services were held at Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne.
