Robert Lynn Atkinson, 75, of Crystal River, died Oct. 19, 2014, at Seven Rivers Hospital.
He was born Aug. 14, 1939, on a farm just outside of Tallahassee. He grew up in Miami from 5 years of age and proceeded to live there until moving in 1977 to Plant City. He lived the remainder of his life in Central Florida.
He is survived by brothers, Julian (Helen), George, Lamar (Genny) and Paul; and sister, Mary Jo Joffre; as well as 26 nieces and nephews.
Mr. Atkinson was preceded in death by his parents, Marcus and Mae Atkinson; and sisters, Louise Dyson Rhoden, Kathryn Luster and Ella Mae Corder.
