Obituary: Ruby B. Griffin

Ruby B. Griffin, 96, of Plant City, died July 28, 2015 with her loving family by her side.

Mrs. Griffin loved the Lord and was the best mom in the world to her children. She was very artistic and loved writing poems, needlework and reading her Bible. She always said, “Don’t wait for the hearse to take you to church.”

She is survived by her son, Gary Griffin (Tami); daughters, Yvonne Naecker (Buddy), Virginia Carlton (John), Norma Kay Hancock, Sandra Thrasher (Ronnie) and Sherry Regan (Joe); sister, Juanita May; sister-in-law, Louise Lents; 14 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by two brothers and three sisters.

A visitation was held July 30 at Wells Memorial and Event Center. A funeral service followed July 31, with a burial following at Springhead Cemetery.
