Rufus Clayton “R.C.” Easters, 93, of Lithia, died Aug. 26, 2014.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Olive Jeanette Easters; and granddaughter, Diana Blount.
He is survived by his children, Nancy Bailey, Evelyn Childs, Charlotte Goins (Ron), Russell Easters (Joyce) and Danny Easters; sister, Mary Easters; grandchildren, Ivy Russ (Robert), Dwight Childs (Carla), Clinton Childs, Donald Childs, Krissy Goins (Leslie Murphy), Tabitha Goins, Tommy Goins, Jennifer Brissel (James), Marissa VanSickle (Dylan), Nathan Easters and Mark Thompson; grandson-in-law, Keith Blount; great-grandchildren, Bobby Russ, Joshua Russ, Aaron Russ, Bailey Blount, Jordan Blount, Thaddeus Blount, Ashley Childs, J.D. Childs, Cody Childs, Destiny Childs, Donald Childs, Brandon Murphy, Travis Murphy, Kortnee Murphy, Kyle Murphy, Summer Murphy, Kaitlyn Goins, Braddley Barton, Connor Goins, Jonathan Goins, Keith Easters, Kainna Garcia, Arris Garcia, Augustine Garcia, Nevaeh Brissel, Cheyenne Brissel, Shelby and Hunter VanSickle; and great-great-granchildren, Hailey, Zoe, Michael and Toby.
A celebration of life was held Sept. 4, at Hopewell Funeral Home, Plant City. Private interment was held at Pelote Cemetery, Lithia.
