Sara Lee White (Knoch), 79, of Plant City, died Sept. 1, 2015.
Mrs. White was born Oct. 27, 1935 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to Elmer Glade Knoch and Sarah Esther Reidenbaugh. She graduated from Oliver High School and lived most of her life in Pittsburgh. She worked as a secretary for Allegheny General Hospital and Pittsburg-Des Moines Steel. She retired to Plant City in 1997. She loved to sew, read and watch Steelers football.
She is survived by her brother, Allan Paul Knoch; children, Deborah Lee Shugerts and Donna Lynn Connell; grandsons, Zachary Thomas Mays, Ryan James Shugerts, Patrick Thomas Shugerts and Trenten Chase Connell.
She was predeceased in death by her parents and her husband of 52 years, Freddie Thomas White.
Burial will be at Uniondale Cemetery in Pittsburgh, where she will be returned to her home of hills, rivers, snow and rhododendrons that she loved so very much.
