Virgie V. Williams, 88, of Plant City, died June 10, 2016.
Born in Andalusia, Alabama, she was a retired seamstress with Ross of Florida and was a member of First Assembly of God Church in Plant City. She loved her family, and she enjoyed sewing and cooking.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Williams.
She is survived by her children, Gary Williams (Marcia) and Laura Cowart (Harmon), of Plant City; siblings, Betty Sue Lott, of Opp, Alabama, and Daryl Norsworthy, of Plant City; five grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
A celebration of life was held June 17, at First Assembly of God. Interment followed at Hopewell Memorial Gardens.
