William “Bill” John Strawn Jr., 82, of Plant City, died Aug. 21, 2016, at his home.
He was born in Norfolk, Virginia. He was a real family man and loved his grandchildren. He was a devout Christian who loved, played and coached football. He had a career in education. He was a people person and will be terribly missed by his family and many, many friends.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Jean; children, Valerie DeArmond (Doug), Perry Strawn (Belinda) and Terry Strawn (Theresa); grandchildren, Jesse Starr, Aaron Starr, Shane Strawn (Heather), Jordan Strawn (Marlee), Courtney Strawn, Drew Strawn (Stacy), Morgan Davis and Summer DeArmond; great-grandsons, Peyton and Eli; great-granddaughter, Londyn; brother, Richard (Gloria); three nephews; and two nieces.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Bobby; and parents, William Sr. and Lydia Strawn.
