UPDATE:
As investigation continues into this incident, it has been learned that the injury sustained by Theodore Buckley is not life threatening. He sustained a single gunshot wound to the rear neck area and is continuing to receive treatment at an area hospital.
This is an active investigation, and more information will be released as it becomes available. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Plant City Police Department.

A 21-year-old man was shot and injured the evening of May 6.
Around 9:04 p.m., Plant City residents Theodore J. Buckley, 21, and Nicole L. Bradley, 20, were talking in a vehicle parked in a field west of Clemons Rd. when a white Hyundai hatchback pulled up. Two men, both described as Hispanic, exited the vehicle, produced handguns and shot at the vehicle multiple times.
Buckley was hit once, while Bradley was uninjured. The suspects fled the scene, heading south on Clemons Rd., and Buckley was transported to an area hospital.
No information on his injury has been released.
