Due to delays in maintenance construction, Florida Gas Transmission Company announced its plans to
postpone the re-test of 17 miles of natural gas pipeline using water as part of its ongoing pipeline safety management program.
The re-test was originally scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 2. The re-test will now take place from midnight to 4 a.m. Friday, Oct. 3.
The pipeline runs primarily along the streets of Hillsborough County. The following closures will occur:
– Both directions on West Knights Griffin Road from Stacy Road to McIntosh Road
– Both directions on West Knights Griffin Road from McIntosh Road to Pless
Road.
– Entire intersection of Gallagher Road with West Knights Griffin Road.
– A portion of Pless Road, north of West Knights Griffin Road.
– A portion of North Vaughn Road.
– A portion of Painted Gaits Lane.
– A portion of North Poel Road.
– A portion of Peeples Road.
– A portion of Peregrine Drive.
– A portion of Deer Herd Avenue.
– A portion of Bailey Road.
