August featured dozens of back-to-school events, a solar eclipse and highlighted some of Plant City’s finest citizens. The community rallied together to ensure all local students and teachers received everything they would need to kickstart a successful year at school.
Children competed in the new YMCA developmental swimming program, a local artist was a finalist in a nationwide motorcycle customization competition and an 87-year-old woman walked a mile for every year since she was born to raise money for charity.
