Hurricane Irma swept through Florida in September, causing communities to come together to rebuild and recoup in a time of need. Strangers helped strangers, churches and organizations banded together to help the community recover. Though the last-minute shift altered the path of Irma’s eye, Plant City still saw flooding and damage. The Florida Strawberry Festival Grounds hosted power companies from across the country as Florida attempted to regain power.
