For Plant City High’s special needs students, nights like this are a time to shine.
These students got to strut their stuff in the ninth annual Every Buddy’s Beautiful fashion show, a joint operation between the school’s special education and cosmetology programs. It’s a night for students to strut their stuff in their best outfits, or craziest costumes, and put on a show for the audience.
This year’s festivities were bittersweet, as they also featured a slideshow honoring ESE teacher Sandy Denham. Denham, who is also involved with the local Special Olympics scene, is retiring at the end of the school year.
