Despite the dreary weather, the Strawberry Classic Cruise-In car show drew a substantial crowd to the heart of downtown Saturday evening.
Classic cars were parked along four parking lots and attendees strolled the streets, snacks in hand, as they took in the beauty of the pristine vehicles. Many stopped along the way to chat with the vehicle owners, who had set up their chairs behind their vehicle with their friends. A live DJ was also on site for attendees, as were a few vendors. Even local youth had a chance to enjoy the festivities as Lightning McQueen from Pixar’s “Cars” was parked just outside of Big Dog’s Patio.
The Cruise-In, which is hosted by the Greater Plant City Chamber of Commerce, is held the third Saturday of every month.
