Lights of Love, the first of Plant City’s two major annual Christmas traditions, brought the holiday’s spirit back downtown Dec. 3 and got the area ready for the next day’s Christmas Parade.
The ceremony looked a little different than usual: attendees were asked to practice social distancing and wear masks, and the usual musical performance by First Baptist Church of Plant City was limited to two performers onstage. Other than that, the South Florida Baptist Hospital Foundation’s big night brought back the same good vibes Plant City residents have enjoyed for the last 22 years.
