UPDATE: Two of the eleven members of the “Norte 14” criminal gang have been sentenced.
Joseph Rondon, 26, was sentenced to 15 years in prison followed by 10 years of probation.
His brother, Jonathan Rondon, 29, was sentenced to seven years in prison followed by 10 years of probation.

Eleven members of the “Norte 14” criminal gang have been prosecuted, and nine of them entered pleas prior to trial and will serve a total of more than 45 years in prison.
The gang, which has terrorized residents throughout Hillsborough, Manatee and Polk counties through aggravated battery, aggravated assault, robbery and homicide, was investigated by the Plant City Police Department, Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office and the Florida Attorney General’s Office of Statewide Prosecution. The 11 arrests took place in June 2013.
The nine gang members that entered pleas prior to trial include:
Nahum Calderon, 26, pleaded guilty to one count of racketeering and two counts of conspiracy to racketeer. Calderon is facing three years in prison, followed by three years of probation at a upcoming sentencing date.
Sergio Calderon, 23, pleaded guilty to one count of racketeering and two counts of conspiracy to racketeer. Calderon is facing three years in prison followed by three years of probation at a upcoming sentencing date.
Michael Lugo, 24, pleaded guilty to racketeering, conspiracy to racketeer, burglary of a dwelling, grand theft and criminal mischief. Lugo was sentenced to eight years in prison.
Adrian Mata, 26, pleaded guilty to racketeering and conspiracy to racketeer. Mata was sentenced to eight years in prison.
Oscar Ontiveros, 24, pleaded guilty to one count of racketeering and eight counts of felony possession of firearm. Ontiveros was sentenced to five years in prison with a three-year mandatory minimum.
Francisco Quiroz, 19, pleaded guilty to racketeering, conspiracy to racketeer, felony possession of a firearm and conspiracy to distribute cocaine. Quiroz was sentenced to more than seven years in prison.
Domingo Rosales, 24, pleaded guilty to one count of racketeering and two counts of conspiracy to racketeer. Rosales was sentenced to three years in prison, followed by three years of probation.
Paul Sanchez, 26, pleaded guilty to racketeering, conspiracy to racketeer, distribution of marijuana and violation of probation. Sanchez was sentenced to more than five years in prison.
Michael Workman, 21, pleaded guilty to racketeering, conspiracy to racketeer and felony possession of a firearm. Workman was sentenced to more than five years in prison.
