Three of the best basketball players to ever suit up for the Plant City Raiders were honored Friday, Dec. 16.
After the boys basketball game, Ginger Bennett Forté, Russell Evans and Horace Broadnax saw their jerseys retired in a ceremony attended by Mayor Rick Lott, former head coaches and members of the Hillsborough County School Board. All three former players received proclamations from the City of Plant City, read and issued by Lott after the jerseys were unveiled.
