On Friday, Jan. 15, over 60 schools competed in the Florida High School Competitive Cheerleading Regional Championships, held at Plant City High School. The first school started at 1:40 p.m., and the last at 8:30 p.m.
Each team was given two five-minute warmups and five minutes of performance time. Judged on talent and form, the divisions were small non-tumbling, small co-ed, medium varsity, large varsity, small varsity, large co-ed, extra-large and large non-tumbling.
Results for Plant City-area teams will be published as soon as they are made available.
